ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Hi, I'm Barton M. “Bart” Randall

WHO AM I?
I grew up in Wisconsin, where I earned six varsity letters in football, wrestling, and baseball. After high school, I served an 18-month mission in Japan for my church, an experience that deepened my faith and broadened my perspective.
In 1986, I married my wife, Carolyn Boizelle, and together we’ve raised two children and now enjoy being grandparents.
I dedicated 24 years to the U.S. Navy’s nuclear field, retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer. After my Navy career, we chose Stafford County as our home in 2006. Since then, I’ve served our community in many ways:
-
Stafford County Planning Commission (2017–2021)
-
School Capital Improvement Advisory Committee (Chair and Vice Chair, past 3 years)
-
Board of Directors, SERVE Food Pantry (last 1.5 years)
WHY AM I RUNNING?
Because Stafford deserves better. I believe I can make a positive contribution and want to be part of the solution—not part of the problem. Garrisonville residents deserve a strong, positive future, and I am committed to helping us get there.
What values guide me?
-
Public service—not politics
-
God-centered values
-
Integrity, leadership, and strong communication
-
Finding common ground
-
Always doing the right thing
MISSION STATEMENT
Equality Meets Opportunity
I believe Stafford County should be a place where everyone has the chance to succeed, regardless of background or circumstance. My goal is to create policies and programs that promote fairness, access, and opportunity for all residents—from quality education to support for local businesses, community services, and neighborhoods.
By ensuring equality meets opportunity, we can build a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive Stafford County.
